Thursday, May 23, 7 pm, J.S. Wooley-The Man, The Photographer, The Innovator. Free lecture and book signing by Richard Timberlake. Mr. Timberlake and several of his co-authors will share the latest research on ca. 1900 photographer Jesse Wooley (1867-1943). Based in Ballston Spa, Wooley traveled the globe documenting the rapidly change world. He produced elaborate travelogue Slide Lantern shows as public entertainments. On display at the museum will be several artifacts and original photographs by Wooley.
