New Handicap Access Area

Saratoga County, NY – The Saratoga County History Center held a “Hats Off Ceremony” to unveil its new handicap access area on July 13. The area is dedicated in the memory of Marjory Clark and made possible from donations by her family and the Saratoga Rotary Club.

“As you know we are a small museum that has had significant financial difficulty. However, with generous community members helping with significant projects we are able to not only survive but to grow,” explained Jon Hallgren, Trustee at SCHC, “The museum and history center is alive and growing thanks to many of you.”

“We are very happy that we were able to help the SCHC through the pandemic as well also needed help with space for our Court,” adds Benny Zlotnick, Milton town supervisor who made this project possible, “Thanks to the generous donations from Mrs. Case and the Saratoga Rotary Club, along with the many volunteers, this project came to fruition for the benefit of us all.”

Brookside Museum is located at the west end of fun and fashionable Front Street in historic Ballston Spa. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
