Live music will be flowing from the porch and across the lawn at the Saratoga County History Center this July and August. Come join us for the third annual Sounds of Summer concert series co-sponsored by the Saratoga County History Center and the Saratoga Arts Community Arts Regrant Program, with the support of the American Federation of Musicians and the Music Performance Trust Fund.
The concerts are free, open to the public, and will be held at Brookside Museum, 21 Fairground Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
Sunday, July 30: 3pm | Dennis Searles and his All-Star Band will perform a mixed program of classical and pop music. Rain date: August 2.
Sunday, August 13: 3pm | Dennis returns with his Jazz Band for another wonderful afternoon concert. Rain date: August 16.
History Center President, Field Horne, commented, “We are delighted to once again work with Saratoga Arts and the American Federation of Musicians to support and expand the production of live classical and jazz music in Saratoga County”.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music!
Saratoga Arts made this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
Concerts are scheduled for the fall and winter as well, so be sure to save the dates. More information will be released in the future.
