As part of the Sounds in Winter concert series, the James Street String Quartet will be performing in the Long Room of Brookside Museum on Saturday, November 18 at 3pm. The concert is free and open to the public. Please register at https://brooksidemuseum.
The performance will be approximately one hour long and feature the following pieces:

Lullaby – George Gershwin
Juba, from String Quartet No. 2 – Florence Price
String Quartet Op. 1, No. 6 – Chevalier de Saint-Georges
String Quartet Op. 59, No. 3 – Ludwig van Beethoven
The James Street String Quartet has prepared and performed six different programs at various locations including libraries, churches, and even a cidery. The four musicians, Holly Larson (violinist), Chelsea Reeves (violinist), Jody Van Voris (violist), and Heather Walker (cellist) are professionals who play in local orchestras and teach in the Capital Region.
