Each year, our school programs serve thousands of students from Saratoga and its surrounding counties. From Sheep to Shawl, to Native New York, to A Brookside Harvest, there are programs to suit many grades and subjects. We also offer in-classroom programming and can customize presentations to meet the needs of your students.
Fees for Programs Taking Place at Brookside: $8 per person. (10 Student Minimum) No charge for school employees, students and chaperones pay program fee.
Fees for our Travelling Program: $120 per session (30 student maximum per session) and current Federal mileage reimbursement rate to and from 21 Fairground Ave, Ballston Spa, NY applies to any program not taking place at the Saratoga County History Center.
Registration & Cancellation Policy for Education Programs
1. Registration for on-site education programs must be done in advance and payment must be received 2 weeks prior to the scheduled visit in order to hold the reservation. A credit card may also be used to hold the reservation. If payment or credit card is not received by the required date, the time slot will be offered to another group from our waiting list.
2. Chaperones will be charged the same fee as the students. There will be no charge for teachers and teacher aides.
3. Our on-site program takes place both inside our building and on our grounds under tents. The program runs rain or shine. Brookside will only cancel the program if weather is severe and every attempt will be made to reschedule the cancelled program. If the program cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be given.
4. Refunds for a program cancelled by the school group can only be guaranteed if one weeks notice is given. For cancellation notice of less than a week, a refund will be given only if the time slot can be filled with another group.
