The Saratoga County History Center at Brookside Museum announces “Cloaks and Greatcoats: 18th Century Outerwear” with well known historical clothing expert, Henry Cooke. This presentation will take place on Friday, January 3rd, at 7 pm at Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa, NY.

Learn how people kept warm in the 18th century and view original and replica garments. Mr. Cooke will cover not only material and construction techniques, but also aspects of social history.

The event is free and open to the public, though donations are always welcome. (In case of inclement weather, please check with Brookside Museum).
