DESCRIPTION:Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19\, we have made the decision to cancel the Craft and Antique Fair scheduled for Saturday\, June 13\, 2020.  The health and safety of our visitors\, vendors and staff is our highest priority and this decision has been made with the best interest of all people involved.  We are looking forward to having our Craft and Antique Fair in 2021.  In the mean-time\, please remember to help one-another and support local businesses; we are all in this together.

Dr. Lawson will speak about public history\, and memorials. Dr. Landis\, a Civil War expert\, will moderate the event. Audience members can submit questions through chat.

DESCRIPTION:Expert Next Door Series: Mike Schaffer\, Real McCoy Tap Room \n  \nJoin the Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside Museum and Mike Schaffer from the Real McCoy Tap Room for the first event in our virtual Expert Next Door Series. For complete details\, please watch the video below.  Beers mentioned are available at Savemore Beverage Center in Clifton Park and Hannaford in Ballston Spa. \n\n\n\n\n			 \n	\n\nBeers mentioned are a Paradox’s Bohemian-style Pilsner produced in its Schroon Lake brewery.  It will follow with the Troy\, Brown’s “Joann” IPA\, which is described as juicy and smooth with Mosaic and Amarillo hops.  The third will be Lakewood\, NY’s Southern Tier IPA\, which sports a copper color and lightly floral\, citrus\, and pine aroma.  The final selection will be Northway Brewing Company’s “Barkeater Chocolate Cherry Stout\,” a milk/sweet stout. \nThis event will take place on Father’s Day\, Sunday June 21 at 7pm. \nTickets for this event are required\, please click here for tickets.  A link to the Zoom event will be emailed. \nThis event is free for SCHS at Brookside Museum members and $5 for non-members.
