DESCRIPTION:For over 40 years\, Saratoga County History Center at Brookside Museum has provided high-quality K-12 educational programing\, and shared and preserved our local history. This last year we have had exhibits celebrating 100 years of Stewarts ice cream\, Hats\, Black History Experiences in the County\, Mystery Photographs\, Country Stores and County Life in Photographs. We have welcomed school parties and families to Sheep to Shawl. We have had talks and walks. We want to offer more\, and need your support. \nSCHS/Brookside Museum will be selling Brooks’ BBQ chicken dinners to go on Friday\, June 3rd\, 3-6pm for $14. Each dinner will include: \n1/2 chicken\, baked potato\, cole slaw\, and a bread roll \nTake-out only \nPlease call (518) 885-4000 to reserve your meal. \nThere will be a limited number of extra dinners available on the day \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:The British are coming to Ballston Spa! \nSunday\, June 5th from 1-4pm join the local American Revolution living history group\, His Majesty’s Recreated 24th Regiment of Foot for a small encampment. The Noble 24th will be demonstrating 18th century military and non-military British soldier’s activities as well seeking new members interested in getting involved in reenacting one of the England’s most prestigious and well-known regiments.
