The tour includes stories about: the man who was so angry at the City\, he turned his back on it; the son who took his mother’s jewels from her safety deposit box and what he did with them; the man who won three academy awards; the competition between two shirt manufacturers; and “The Million Dollar House.” Starts and ends at 563 North Broadway\, Saratoga Springs\, NY.  \nA $10 donation per person is suggested.\n \nThis event is sold out. \n

Richardson\, for a conversation about the meaning of American Democracy from the perspective of the renowned former slave turned writer\, orator and abolitionist. In his talk Richardson will discuss Douglass’ relationships with abolitionists William Lloyd Garrison and Harriet Tubman\, and several United States Presidents including Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant. Discussion with the audience will follow his presentation Co-Sponsored by the Frederick Allen Lodge and the Saratoga County History Center. Cash Bar.
