Help Feed Our Kids on Weekends Scotties BackPack Program BBQ FUNDRAISER

SCHS/Brookside Museum, Ballston Spa Rotary, and Malta Sunrise Rotary are joining forces with the Ballston Spa Central School District to have a BBQ FUNDRAISER  on October 5th, 12-4 pm at the Brookside Museum. SCHS at Brookside Museum Receives GHHN Grant

The Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside Museum has been awarded a 2019 Greater Hudson Heritage Network Collection Needs Assessment Program Grant. The Collection Needs Assessment Program: Site Assessment and Supplies is administered by Greater Hudson Heritage Network, in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts. Jailhouse Rock 5K

The 17th Annual Jailhouse Rock 5K will take place on Saturday August 17, 2019 in Ballston Spa, New York.  The race is sponsored by the Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside Museum.  All proceeds from the race support the efforts of SCHS to keep history alive in Saratoga County through collecting, preserving and displaying our history.   There will be live… Read more »

Chickens!: The Exhibition

This unique exhibition, opening on July 5, 2019, explores poultry’s place in the economic, social, and cultural life of Saratoga County.   On Friday, August 2, 5-8 pm, we will be celebrating the arrival of our live hens on site and the exhibition with a party and activities for all ages.
