Surname and Vertical Files
Of particular interests to genealogists are our extensive collection of surname and vertical files. Surname files contain miscellaneous information related to surnames. Information contained in the files has been collected by SCHC staff and researchers and varies depending upon surname. Vertical files contain miscellaneous information related to geographic area and subject content.
Files can be purchased by filling out the File Order Form or by PayPal. Prices depend upon file size. Shipping costs are 25% of total order copying costs
- A small file (S) contains up to 15 pages and costs $5 + $1.25 (shipping); $6.25 total
- A medium (M) contains 16-30 pages and costs $10 + $2.50 (shipping); $12.50 total
- A large (L) file contains 31 – 50 pages and costs $15 + $3.75 (shipping); $18.75 total
- Files containing more than 50 pages are extra large (XL) and will be charged per copy.
