Townhall Discussion of the Removal of the Schuyler Statue
Moved by the spirited discussion following Mayor Sheehan’s announcement that the statue of Philip Schuyler will be removed from City Hall, we invited three history experts to answer YOUR questions and moderate a discussion on the contested space of history and public statues. Dr. Dorsey is an expert on the American Revolution and Colonial America. Dr. Lawson will speak about public history, and memorials. Dr. Landis, a Civil War expert, will moderate the event.
