Plein Air Painting Class at Brookside Museum

On August 1, 2023, from 6pm–8pm, Artist/Teacher Gail Talmadge will be holding a Plein Air Art Class at the Saratoga County History Center’s Brookside Museum, 21 Fairground Ave., Ballston Spa, NY.  The cost of the class is $20.00 for residents of the 12020 zip code and $30.00 for all others.  This cost will cover all supplies and materials necessary for the course.  A rain date is scheduled for August 2.  You may enroll in the course at info@bspaarts.org.

Gail is the owner and instructor for her Taste & Paint business as well as a private teaching artist in upstate New York.  She received a Masters in Art Education from the University of Florida.  As part of her professional art career, Gail has been very involved in community projects such as the Mayor’s Artist Mural Initiative and is a founding member of Creative Creations, a community art group.  She has also showed at various art shows and sells her artwork and products in many online shops.  Recently, Gail has been asked to participate in New York State “On the Canals” excursions as the only plein air artist, teaching painting along the canals.  You can reach out to her anytime at gailtalmadge@gmail.com.
