Sketch & Print: A Nature-Inspired Creative Journey: Intro to Printmaking

Join us for a 3-week immersive art experience that brings creativity to life!
Inspired by the beautiful gardens of the Village of Ballston Spa, this hands-on program blends the joy of sketching with the magic of printmaking. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned art enthusiast, this class invites you to explore, create, and express yourself through nature-inspired art.

Sundays, August 24, 31 & September 7, 2025 (12-3pm)

Instructors:
– Maria DeAngelo (@artyladyMsD): printmaker, painter & multimedia artist
– Ottavia Huang (@ms.otter.studio): watercolor artist & urban sketcher
Registration fee: $60 (an invoice will be emailed to you after submission of this form)

Here’s what to expect each week:

Week 1 (8/24): Sketching the Beauty Around Us
✿ Learn the basics of nature-inspired sketching in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Week 2 (8/31): Intro to Printmaking
✿ Try your hand at simple printmaking techniques and watch your sketches come to life in new ways.

Week 3 (9/7): Sketch & Print Creative Day
✿ Bring it all together! Develop your own creative project with sketching and/or printmaking.

No experience necessary. All supplies are included. And all skill levels are welcome.
