Discover herbs important during the Revolutionary War, about the founding gardeners who shaped our country, and the colonists’ colonial gardens. We’ll talk about the herbs they grew and the ways that they were used for food, dyes, body products and medicine. Refreshments and a tour of the Beverly & Harold Ricks Memorial Herb Garden to follow after the program. This event is free with registration.
