Museum trustee Russ VanDerWoort is presenting at “Watershed Moments,” the 2021 addition of The Association of Public Historians of New York State’s annual conference. His presentation will be about Maria Rynders, one of the first women in New York state to cast a vote in an election when she did so in Waterford in 1842. The conference will be held in Oswego at the Lake Ontario Events and Conference Center.
