Join us here at Brookside Museum on Sunday, September 28, at 2:00P.M. for a presentation on a time when exotic plant hunters roamed the world. Meet the brave and adventurous souls whose unquenchable thirst for exotic plants took them at great personal risk to remote areas in Asia, Africa, South America, and beyond. Their spellbinding stories changed landscapes forever. The dedication of the James Mann Victorian Shade Garden will follow. In tandem with the day’s festivities, a daylily plant sale and Porch sale will be held on the front porch. Daylilies will be sold for $8:00 each or 3 for $20.00. Cash is preferred. Refreshments included and all are welcome.
