The Saratoga County History Center is pleased to announce a Trivia Night fund raising event to be held at Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6 to 9 pm.
The event will be hosted by Ballston Spa native Mark Hersh of Hersh Productions. Mark, a long-time mobile DJ and event producer, currently hosts two weekly trivia events in Ballston Spa and brings his experience to the museum’s first Trivia Night, held to support the many activities of the History Center. “With our focus on education and learning, a Trivia event is a perfect fit for Brookside” said Trustee Jim Richmond. “It is an exciting way to share your knowledge with others.”
Typical trivia categories such as TV and movies, songs, sports, science, and geography will be enhanced by local history related questions created by the event committee. The evening will begin at 6pm with light refreshments and the trivia challenge begins at 7pm. Karen Stack James leads the event committee and is looking forward to the trivia night. “We are very excited to bring this event to the community. We hope our guests enjoy some tasty desserts, friendly competition, and perhaps learn a little more about Saratoga County and our new look History Center”.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams and a 50-50 raffle will be held.
Allerdice ACE Hardware & Building Supply is sponsoring the event. Ballston Spa’s NightWork Bread Co. is providing desserts.
